On Instagram, we are ellen_tsagaris. In keeping with our new non profit name, we've changed the name of this blog. All we need now is the building!!

Artistic Pastries

Japanese Pastries, Hippo Bakery, Mitsuwa Shopping Center

Gingerbread, dough babies, bread dolls from all over Europe are part of the history of dolls. These artistic, wonderful pastries carry on that tradition. I have posted more examples of dough art on my Instagram site under ellen_tsagaris.

They are made it the tradition of doll cakes and similar offerings. Peru is famous for its dough figures, and so is China particularly tiny examples under mini domes of glass.
