Thank You, Naperville Doll Show!

My friend Diane R. and I traveled to Naperville, IL for the semiannual doll show.  My great finds are the two French dolls below, but I brought home lots of other goodies, including many generous gifts from the Windy City Doll Guild; these included parts, patterns, ethnic dolls, a composition doll, and more.  Free will contributions went to the UFDC, and I contributed generously.

Pat of Mostly French on Ruby Lane gave away lovely doll items and clothing.  I purchased miniatures and clothing for museum dolls from several booths, especially knitted and crocheted. I was happy to meet Pat and Kevin; while pinning for Ruby Lane I often pinned her lovely dolls. Those interested, go to the Ruby Lane doll boards to see my work, and explore the blog where I often wrote posts.

Many of these came from Diane's booth.  I also found paper ephemera for my own art projects, and an awesome set of vintage Taiwanese dolls from Gigi's Dolls and Sherry's Teddies and a great wooden mouse bank from Spain from Ragamuffin Doll Shop, Galena.

Fritzi's Antique Dolls provided a doll house sized Parian with three hand made dresses; she has a lovely beaded, molded cafe au lait hairdo.
