This is a blip on the doll radar, but you just don't realize how surprising dolls can be. We had Roto Rooter work on a clogged drain today, and there, in my parent's house are the cases my dad built for the dolls. There many dolls there on display, most contemporary, none really valuable except to me. Included are holiday dolls, Boyd's Bears, vintage Fisher Price toys, a few older dolls, several international dolls, and Barbies after 1990. The man from RR was fascinated, and said he had to ask how many dolls did I have? We had a great conversation about them, and about the spectacular doll houses he gets to see. Who knew?!!!!
We will be adding photos, beginning with ancient dolls, as an annexe to the museum; visit us on Facebook, Dr. E's Doll Museum, and on Twitter @Dr. E's Doll Museum. We also have Facebook pages Doll Universe, Antique Doll, and Dr. R. We are on Flickr under Ellen Tsagaris, and ISSUU as Old Dolls. Our other Twitter account is Old Dolls. On Instagram, we are ellen_tsagaris. In keeping with our new non profit name, we've changed the name of this blog. All we need now is the building!!
